Ideal for air and gas preheaters in power stations
This special carbon yarn packing is superior to all greased asbestos and natural fibre packings because of the special shaft protection qualities.The packing can be used especially where scored shafts endanger the packing material. The interlaced lead wires will create a smooth shaft surface.
The special carbon yarn packing 6540 has beean approved for years for the sealing of air and gas preteaters in power stations. The packing is used to protect the shaft bearings against dust and flying ash. We also recommend the usage of our special carbon yarn packing for sealing of acid and lye pumps.
